We hope that this web-site will tell you all about the FSPG. Within these pages are details about the different interest areas which the FSPG members pursue, and an application form. Details of the "Group" Constitution, rules and practises which are followed by members can be obtained, by request, on the E-Mail system.

Please do not be perturbed by the mass of rules presented to you in the Code of Practice. We do have to abide by these regulations, firstly as a requirement of our insurance policy, and secondly as a means to promote safety within our hobby. Firefighting equipment may cause damage and injury if used incorrectly. It is uncommon to find details as these with an application form, but as you will be signing a declaration of acceptance of, and agreeing to abide by, these rules, we invite you to read through them before completing the application form.

Membership of the "Group" is open to anyone who has a serious interest in the past, present and future of the Fire Service. You will see from the General Information pages that the "Group" covers a very wide range of activities.
